Computer Recycling for Schools and Colleges

How we work - recycling your old IT & electricals.

Get a quote in double quick time.

Just tell us what equipment is clogging up your storeroom and corridors and we’ll be able to give you a quote. You can email us a list or send us a photo of the equipment. Once we know what you’ve got we can calculate the load and the price.

What happens next.

If you’re happy with the quote we’ll arrange a time for collection. This can be anytime to suit you. We suggest avoiding the beginning and end of day so that our collection doesn’t coincide with pupils are arriving and leaving your school.

How your old computer equipment is recycled.

Once the collection has been arranged we'll send a van or lorry to take your equipment off to be sorted into 2 categories: those items with components that can be reused and those that must be recycled.

The equipment that can be usefully reused is then processed, repaired and sold.

The other equipment is then loaded up and taken to the SWEEEP recycling facility at Sittingbourne. Here the equipment is weighed, stamped and the all-important WEEE paperwork is completed and signed.

All this paperwork is then returned to you, along with our invoice.

Finally, if you're a new customer you'll receive a call the next day to make sure everything went OK and you're happy.

Some other quick things to bear in mind: we never use landfill and won't send your old equipment to Africa. Everything is processed legally, ethically and economically in the UK.
